You can verify that info also by looking at your profile to see what your payment status is on the right hand side of the 2nd Life Tab.
The Account Box. Will say 1 of 3 things, Payment Info Used, or Payment Info On File No Payment info on file _____________________

I'm having the same problem. I gave Linden Labs my Visa acct info, and I would like my profile to acknowledge that *without* having to buy anything. Is there anything I can do?
