Short answer: No.

Long answer: Through *script*, yes, if you mean LSL script, and not the sequence you set up in a gesture. A scripted attachment can move the wearer around (though not turn the avatar, at least not in any sense reliably; see pretty much any "hugger" attachment out there).
Alternately, you can play an animation which makes it *look* like the avatar moves around. An animation can have the avatar visually roam quite a long distance from where it "actually is", physically, on the server, but it'll return to it's "true" position once the animation stops.
