Question on Home

Sorry for such a foolish question, but the mainland infohubs are not allowing me to set them as a home location. I need to change homes and don't really want to buy land right now just for that purpose.

What is an area that will accept the setting, please.

You should be able to set your home location to any of the mainland public help areas. You might just try searching 'help island' in places and checking out the different islands.....there should be enough open areas where you can set home temporarily.

The other thing you can do......is before you log off each time...TP to a quiet area you like....anywhere.....and set your preferences to log in at your last location. If you're not planning on buying land or having any kind of a structured home.....this can work just as well for you. You will just have to save the LM of the place you like.....and remember to always go there, before you log off each time.

NCI Kuula has a little patch of land in green markers so that people can 'home' there. I think you have to join the Homeowners Association to have access, but it's a great place to start if you want to avoid the regular Welcome Area griefer crowd. (^_^)y

You can also join a group and set home there on the group land.

I think I once saw a place in the Botanical Gardens that allowed folks to set home there.
