Best laid plans of mice and men often go awry… the new Land Store is just not ready to ship.
Rather than inflict you guys with a tool that isn’t ready yet, we have decided to bring the old store back up with the new prices. All the old challenges remain (doesn’t work in IE, wait time for delivery) but you will be able to place orders as you have in the past.
You will still be unable to order Openspaces via the old store, and the delays there will continue to be long as we deal with backorders. New island orders will go up as quickly as possible, and we will keep you updated on the progress of not only those orders but of the new store as well.

i had sims on order at the old pricing and canceled them as i wanted new pricing and no wait had they put new pricing in effect for all land on order i could have had my sims up already
any one else cancel there orders and were waiting on instand delievery ?

...and after everyone orders their islands and there is a 4-5 week delay due to all the orders, they will open the new land store and everyone that waited another week will get them immediately.

Good call for LL not to release a tool that is not ready. (Wow, how often do you get to say that??)
 Bummer on the wait, but I bet by not releasing the new store system they saved a ton more headaches and frustrations. _____________________

people complain if they put things out with bugs, and people complain when they withhold something due to bugs....
just can not please everyone (funny thing is it is usually the same ppl complaining about both situations LOL) Not pointing fingers at anyone, just making an observation (if you are one of those people, you already know it, and do not need anyone to point a finger at you) _____________________

LOL heh I am not afraid to say what I think anymore (I used to be, I did not want anyone to come down on me for speaking my mind, and let's face it, some of these folks can be brutal) but now...
