My daughter made an account 2 years ago on the Main Grid. We had not payed attention to the fact there was even a Teen Grid, we spend a decent amount of money on making her AV look the way she wanted it too, and then she never played again, now she is 16 and wants to play once again. My question is, is there anyway I can get a ticket to transfer her AV from MG to TG. I know most residents will not know this, but support for second life is getting more and more difficult to get answers.
Thank you.

And one more thing, if anyone has the support number, if you could post it, it would be nice.

If you have an issue with your account (non-technical, billing/password/etc), you can call the Billing team at: toll-free (US/Canada) 800-294-1067 or long-distance (not free) 703-286-6277. They're available 24 hours a day, seven days a week. LL is the only entity that can help you with this. Good luck!

They'll most likely ask for proof that she is indeed underage (scan of some ID document I'd guess). From: Adriana Mimistrobell we spend a decent amount of money on making her AV look the way she wanted it too I don't think they actually get to keep their inventory when a teen gets transferred from the main to the teen "grid" because it could contain adult items.

What about the clothes on her back, and her hair? Things like that. Or will it just be like a whole new newbie account with an old date.

The clothes on her back, her hair, any purchased skins, shapes, EVERYTHING in the Inventory is left behind. Although in your case, I'd really ask Linden Lab if they can make an exception.

I would think the only way she can play is to simply start over on the teen grid as a newbie then in two years when she's 18 abandon that teen avi and log into her existing adult account. But, since the account she created 2 years ago is getting a stipend (even for a basic non paying account it's $L50 a week) someone will have to log into that account once a week to keep it............and that is a violation of the ToS no matter who logs in (if you, it's a logging in to someone elses account and if it's her, it's being a minor on the adult grid).
Contact LL to see how they say to handle it. But, I wouldn't expect to be able to transfer that account to the teen grid. And, you might even not get much sympathy from LL due to the fact that her account was created in violation of the ToS from the very start.
But, the thing in your favor is that you are attempting to right a wrong............so my best wishes are with you. Good luck.

From: Adriana Mimistrobel I know most residents will not know this, but support for second life is getting more and more difficult to get answers. Thank you. Oh. trust me we know. If you have a free afternoon to spend you can try phoning them but be prepared to wait a long time hearing automated messages while you do.

You could try emailing Blue Linden since he's one in the know.

Submit a support ticket, even if you are a basic account holder. A friend of mine had started an account and accidently hit enter twice on some 'skip this step' part of registration. Her account showed active on the site, but wouldnt let her log in on the client. She emailed support and in 15 minutes it was fixed. They sometimes are faster with certain things, be sure to put the proper title in and maybe they will surprise you and give you a fast answer.
If not, it might just be easier if she did remake on the Teen Grid and save the other for when she is 18. Someone mentioned it had to be logged in...but, do you really have to log in that often to keep an account active? I was gone for a few weeks at one point and nothing ever changed?
Also, does that old 50L stippened even exist anymore, for the old accounts, or did they finally stop that? If she just waited I would bet her character would still be there. Just a guess though, not for sure.
Good luck!

From: Peggy Paperdoll But, since the account she created 2 years ago is getting a stipend (even for a basic non paying account it's $L50 a week) someone will have to log into that account once a week to keep it. Actually, I believe that this requirement has been lifted quite a long time ago. I am virtually certain that premium account residents *do not* have to log on regularly anymore to receive their weekly stipend. It uses to be that way, but was changed in late 2006. Also, for regular (non-premium) accounts there is no more stipend at all. Some really old ones are grandfathered with a L$50 stipend, but that's no longer in place for anybody who registered within the last year or so.

Also, for regular (non-premium) accounts there is no more stipend at all. Some really old ones are grandfathered with a L$50 stipend, but that's no longer in place for anybody who registered within the last year or so. I have an old account created in October, 2005 who was premium. In February, 2006 I created this account and made her premium.........and downgraded the original account back to basic (non paying) account. I've more or less abandoned the original account except to log in once a week to collect the $L50 stipend. I usually give that stipend to this account but I can leave it in the other account for later if I want......however, if I do not log in once a week with that account the next stipend is not given. In other words, that account will never get more than $L50 in it. A log in between stipend days (Tuesdays) is a requirement to keep gaining lindens in the account..........but, I think you are correct about not having to log in to keep an account open. The point of my mentioning logging in once a week was to keep the lindens coming and collectiing during the next two years.........at 50 per week that's $L2600 a year times 2 (or $L5200). Otherwise it will be $L50 total in the account when it is used again. And since the OP stated that the account was created two years ago I assumed the account is approximately the same age as my original account so the same "grandfathered" rights would be in place. Now if the account was not premium then all that could be out the door, though I think even basics back then got the $L50 per week. Won't swear on that part though since my old account was premium before downgrading to basic. And to answer the question about the grandfathered accounts still getting the old basic stipend each week...........yes they do.

If by chance it stops then it's one less thing I need to remember to do each week. But, as it stands now, the way I figure it that measely stipend is one set of eyes from Robin Sojourner's shop every other week, with change left over.......it's something worth doing for me.
