How Long for Ticket Support Response?

I put in a support ticket almost a week ago. How long does it normally take for the Lindens to attend to things these day? Or at least get back to me that they are working on it? Or do they?

Not a big deal, a billing error, but better in my pocket, than theirs of course. I'm not dependent on the money. Won't make or break me.

Thanks!

I am one of the little people, but much to my shock I submitted a ticket (for something simple) yesterday afternoon and had a response from a real person requesting more info so he could resolve my problem waiting when I got home last night. I almost didn't read the email bc/ I assumed it was one of the autoresponse notifications that they recieved my ticket. Glad I didn't delete it. :o

I hope all of you have good luck with your tickets soon! :)

Well as you said it depends on how complex the ticket is. I had billing issues taking care of in less then 2 hours. some within 1 hour. But resently its been laggy badly.

I have always had a pretty good service from LL on support tickets, live chat, etc., and Lindens appearing in-world when necessary to directly handle things.

Elora, try live chat with the number of your ticket ready-that usually does it.

Response on support tickets has been awful in my experience. Live chat on the other hand has been fantastic.

I have had two tickets answered within 24 hours.. and a third that took almost a month, one I submitted months ago that went unanswered(it must have been to complexed for them).

I didn't just submit a ticket, I phoned them personally. This past week they finally responded. The thing is I called them back on 8/10/07 and now on the very end of 11/07 they respond? Great response time, huh?

After I was contacted I told the Linden who IM me, "Now you respond after all this time?"
I added I didn't need their help since it was almost 3 months after I had first called them. This person went away quietly, never uttered another word and that was the end of that.

I still have the ticket number along with all the information for proof.

This is the great support this game offers. You gotta luv them!

Thanks for suggesting that Alyx, I will do that.

For the two or three tickets I had where I was getting antsy after 24 hours, it helped enormously...one of them *was* a billing question and it got sorted right away.

They May attend to them Immediately, But the problem it's self, which you have failed to describe to us Could take a short, or long time based upon the Complexity of the fix necesary and some problems address server, or program issues that LL has been working on for months, and for which there is no Fix.

If you have trouble with your car, It Could need an oil Change, Easy, or a New Transmission, Complicated, and time Consuming. All you've asked is "I've taken my Car in for servicing, How long will it take?"

Angel.

If your not premium it may take forever (i have ticket responses up that are months old) if its a serious issue you have to pick up the phone I am afraid.
