I've heard some really cute and funny child-type voices and found a few vendors...but it's very time consuming. Would love to check out the favorite vendors of other players.

Thank you! :)

I dun have my LMs here, but I can kinda lead ya

1. Inner Child Depot, in Fletcher. You'll find a couple places there.

2. Just 4 Kid Kreations, in Onyx. There's a chunk of wall space there for kid sounds/gestures.

3. Child Haven. Search the picks on Alyona Chernov (I know I jes named a name, but it's inna good way, honest!). She has an awesome three-box sex of kid gestures and sounds dat I use alllll the time. It's spendy, but I have totally totally got my money out of these packs, many times over.

4. Mr Ps. Check classifieds. They've jes started to release some nice kid gestures.

Okay I'll give you another one then : suppose I made some t-shirts designed with kids in mind, how would any pictures on them 'stretch' on a kid shape? I guess what I'm asking is could a kid avi wear an adult t-shirt and would it look okay?

Hey I have a question too- one of my alts is a child avie, but I'm still trying to figure out which AO to use. The grownup ones with sexy walks are a total no no, so are there any GOOD kid AOs? I had no probs creating a shape for her, but I have no idea which anims to choose.

Ones with images towards the top of the avatar body, and not too close to the shoulders, seem to work best. Too far on the belly an they get messed up, too close to the shoulders an they get folded in. You can really dis issue with anyting like a tank top or with thin straps on the shoulders.

My recommendation, Get a kid shape an try a couple of em out. The mesh can be very unforgiving in place, to it is useful to get a full idea of what it will an won't do on a child avvie.

Most will be okay - but some, not so much.

Child AOs is a rare commodity. I personally have *never* found one I like like. There is one at Just 4 Kid Kreations, in Onyx, an also one at Lollipop Shop a lotta people use. All of them have their limitations, including lacking a good "kid walk." There jes isn't one of those at all.

(Hint to animators/AO creators: spot the big, marketable product here!)

Best Child AO's I've seen...
09-24-2007 12:07
Here you go Alyx...

* Becca Hua makes great Child Ao's and sell at Starlight 4,96,21
A Child Multi-Hugger the child wears to do 4 hugs and a high-5. VERY cute.

Also a "Kids AO with a "skip-walk, twirl, 5 standing poses and a sit"..also
a must have.

Thanks to all for listing some of your favorite childs Gesture/Sounds sites here too. Any more?? Or your favorite Child AO?? :)

I found an excellent child AO at Tail of Two Kitties. It includes a control panel that lets you sit on the ground when you're not on Linden ground. I think the standing poses are the best. They're not static and you fidget and move around like kids do. The fly emotes are pretty standard. The only downside is I did have to remove the walk though as it wasn't suitable for a child.

Becca has a shop in Starlight now? I only tink of her main store in Onyx. The Child Multi-Hugger is a total must have for hugstuffs.

I really dun like dat skip-walk

wow, a AO is kinda harder hehe... my basic one is a Child AO By .: AK Designs :. at http://slurl.com/secondlife/Babeli/37/176/23 but I have made some changes over time, especially to the walk. I guess a mix of preferences is the best :)
