Hi all; here's a question for the techie types out there. I have streaming music enabled in my personal preferences, so that I hear it whenever I enter a new parcel, etc. However, I'm a little mystified by the streaming music on my shop parcel. I've got voice enabled there, for customers who may want to use it. The parcel is a rental on a private island; elsewhere on the island, voice is also enabled. On the rest of the island, I can hear streaming music, but the second I enter my shop parcel, it's the Dead Zone. I've tried changing URL's, as I thought maybe my radio station might have gone off the air. No deal. I tried fiddling with all the other controls in About Land. No dice. So I switched off Voice. Music STILL doesn't work. What gives? It used to stream music just fine, till Voice came in.

Double check whether or not you have a typo in the url, but chances are, it was just off. I have found that a lot of the station urls I have are no good and give me dead air. |

for a HUGE list of stations goto SHoutCast.com
also if you are on someone elses land and like what you hear you can see the url of the music they play by going into 'view admin mode' and hitting the land / media tab
with view admin on the URL are not ****'ed out and you can copy them

Noticed this the other day while DJing on my land. Had to set the URL I wanted, then relog, and that fixed it.
