I do know that on a few older viewers and 3rd party viewers, if you copy an attachment from your inventory while you're still wearing it, the new copy you made will be the original size and shape, not the one you made changes to. I believe the newer viewers won't allow you to copy while the item is worn. Not sure if that might be it, but thought I'd throw that out there as I just ran into that last week.

I have this issue with hats all the time. I'll get a hat, spend 20 minutes or more resizing and repositioning it so my hair doesn't come through it (and yet it doesn't look like one of those oversize Loony Tunes gangster hats), wear it, and it's fine. I detach it, and the next time I want to wear it, it's either suddenly much bigger than it was when I took it off, or smaller and my hair prims are poking through again (no, I didn't adjust my hair in the interim). Sometimes the hat retains my tweaks, more often than not, it doesn't.
It seems completely random to me, and I put it down to general SL flakiness. If there's an actual way to fix this, I'd love to know what it is.

I'm not cyber pregnant. I'm not too fat. And I've never sized anything they always fit right. Suddenly they don't and they are the same outfits on the same sized avatar. If someone has a real answer that would rock. Thanks guys.

I think I'd try clearing cache then wearing a different shape, then putting my own shape back on and rebaking.
Are the slider numbers actually different or the same but the shape is still different?

What Osprey said. But, if you made your shape yourself or modified one that you bought, make sure you copy it first. And most shapes that you buy and are modifiable are also copy........but if't not then make you you have your only copy in your inventory........or write down the slider numbers so you can return to the shape you want.
I've had shapes get weird when I was ruthed back in the day........haven't had that problem for a long time though. Old bugs have a habit of showing up at a later time. The slider numbers where not changed when that happened to me. I trick I did try but it wasn't consistant was to change one or two the the sliders to something other than what you want. Come out of appearance, then go back into appearance and put them back to the proper setting. It might worth a try before changing shapes completely.

When exactly did it start? A new server 1.27.1 was implemented this week, so it may be, as stated above, a new or old bug rearing its head.

It started about a month ago. I tried all the above and nothing. Grrrrr. Even put on a new shape and skin. Same fit. It's weird. If someone is good with this and can meet me inworld to see what I mean that would be great.

Check anoyther copy of your shape if you have one, a friend spent ages adjusting skirts before she realsed she had beenn wearing a different shape with the same name.
