How can I set the location under My Picks to be something custom? For example, Elika Tiramisu's is "Elikapeka Tiramisu, ETD is closed. Will reopen between end of Feb or Mar 2009, (Unknown Region) (220, 171, 25)"

Max, you can edit the picture and text of your picks.

The unknown region is not intentional; it means that the place where she made the pick has changed and is no longer inworld or some other glitch in the system. Your pick location is determined by where you are located at the time of making the pick. Just go where you want, and then make the pick and edit later.
Otherwise, if you own land, just name the parcel to that message. The region will show up after your message. _____________________

When the name of the Pick (land/shop name) is changed by the avi that takes the Pick, does the Pick still count in Search as a Pick and search booster for that shop?

I'm aware of that, but it seems there is a way to edit it somehow, like Elika did with her text. |

If Elika owned the land, she could call it whatever she wanted and make the pick. The unknown region, however, is probably a glitch. You can't edit the location other than changing the name of the actual parcel prior to making the pick if you own the land.
