I was redirected to the status page, which ironically said it was an effort to create a better Second Life (maintenance - reason and duration unknown, naturally).

Let's hope my First Life doesn't as unceremoniously kick me "offline" heh.

In addition to login difficulty I am having major rezz difficulty. Stuff just is not rezzing, or only partially rezzing, notecards take forever to load, etc. My avi showed up one time today as a puff of smoke, and remained that way til I managed to log in again,,,at which time I got the message "Your previous place is not available and you have been moved to a nearby region blah blah".
Only I didn't actually get moved. I am alternately unable to move and moving spastically. It's not my connection...no problem with anything but SL.

Well, at that time of day, we had around 66,000 people in world, that's usually the point when the grid gets wonky!!
