get back after a sim restart and the first thing i do is delete 2 prims and they turn into ghosts!!!

create more prims after wondering wtf and they turn into ghosts aswell

Linden Lab *caugh* research... you have now found what causes prims to turn into ghost prims as taking/deleting any is a 100% ghost turnout

How can you tell when you create a ghost prim? Prim count only or is there another way?

When I create a prim and delete it, but I still bump into it even though nothing there I call that a ghost prim (could be using the term wrong though). There is nothing there, nothing transparent, but the collisions are exactly the same as if it is sitting in front of you. Not sure if they still count against the parcel prim count, but they are a real pain.

**seeing Alicia's post I may be using "ghost prim" incorrectly.

that`s a ghost prim, mine still appears and can be moved, copied but prim counted and as ghost as selected/sat and no delete

wtf does QA do there?

edit: i`ll name the visible, movable but show up as selected/sat and undeletable: Second Life: Evolution of the Ghosts Prims

I don't know any Lindens, but the last time I submitted I support ticket for a restart bc/ of ghost prims I got a response in, amazingly, less then 10 minutes. The region was restarted and the ticket was responded to. I know you need more than a restart for this one, but it was about this same time fo day. Maybe worth a shot?

went and searched trough the list of lindens (damn to many...), 3 publicly online, 1 afk, 1 prolly not their department and no idea of grid staff and 1 who isn`t sure and asking around thankfully
