Does anyone know why one of my groups (I own the group) appears in my list as three question marks
???
The most disturbing aspect of this is that its the group that is attached to my rented land and also therefore the that i sell.
The only change that recently happened involving this group is that I removed one officer and nominated another person in the group to be an officer. That arrangement is still there (i checked, being scared that if it hadn't worked i might lose the group)
I know that this group is my group because when i go to group info i see the name and image and everything as it should be. It just appears in the group list as ???
Many thanks if anyone can shed any light on this issue. I hope its just a temporary SL glitch.

OK.... the question marks are gone, and the name of the group is back in the list. Looks like it was an SL glitch after all...

Do not be surprised if the "  ???)" text comes back. This is a pretty frequent bug, which, if I understood correctly, is linked to timeouts in the region server retrieving the group name from wherever this is stored. However, everything seems to function normally despite the name missing temporarily. So no need to worry about this. |

thanks guys.. i must have missed that thread. Thanks also for the reassurance about it coming back and going again, it just did this.
