Is it against any rule to borrow books from the library and never return them?

Helllo

I just borrow some books from the bibliotech.

My idea is to sell these book on eBay - for example - or maybe sell them directly to other people.

But, I was wondering if borrowing these books without returning them is against any law.

BTW, this is better than shoplifting books from the bookstore, or stealing them from my neighbors' houses, right?

** If any one is interested in owning all Danielle Steel novels ever written, PM me on the forum.

There is nothing about the physical characteristics of the books that would inhibit their sale on E-Bay. They are full perms! Of course there's nothing wrong with selling them on!

Why would it be more acceptable to steal something you borrowed as opposed to from a shop? Theft is theft, no matter who from.

If they are full perm then it's okay, as previously pointed out. Afterall, the prevailing wisdom in SL is that if it's physically possible to do something, then it must be morally acceptable too.

This kind of scheme made the news last week(signing books out of the library to sell them on ebay) good luck.
