Blondin said at this office hour yesterday that they were going to send an email out to everyone telling them about changes to adult content.
not one of my avs got it so I assume it didn't happen but since LLs idea of everyone can sometimes be a little skewed I just thought I'd ask.

Well, though yesterday he said they were going to send an email, did he happen to say "when" they would send the email? Probably in October. lol nope he actually said (I had to go back to the transcript to refresh the old memory though) [11:24] Blondin Linden: there will be an email blast later today about the policy change that will be sent to everyone. In it includes a WHAT IS ZINDRA link whick takes people to the blog post about ZIndra with the SLURLS on it. I have begun placing the HOW TO VERIFY kioks around the infohubs with a LM to the Arapaima and other Adult hubs Interestingly he let slip there's been a policy change too. Up until now any object with a naughty word was supposedly ok (we had a big discussion on this around may I think in one of those lifesapping forum threads) They've also gone back to the original position that you can sell adult goods on mature as long as you don't advertise them - the problem with that is the Gteam don't seem to have got the message as one of the animation shops was told to remove their sex animations despite the shop not advertising them. so snafu as usual. _____________________

the last one i had gotten from them was links to the new look of the website..nothing about adult changes or that it went into action..I have been looking on the blog and haven't found anything there either..the two places Blondin said were the main communications between them and us hehehehehe

all i have really found was when logging in .under the log in line it tells about the changes being in effect and then the link they have to click sends you to the maturity definitions..
thats the only thing i have seen on this for the effective 15th date.. _____________________

This is why even though when the policy came out, my strip club seemed fine on Mature, I petitioned my estate owner to set the sim Adult anyway. I knew that Linden Lab woudn't be able to enforce its own policies, and I didn't look forward to having to win an appeal on a borked enforcement every week. On Adult, I don't have to worry. |
