It means the script is a bit wonkey, just check/replace your scripts in the contents tag.

That is a script error. click the icon and it will pull up the script error window and tell you what script is causing the error and why

it's in all the streetlamps and windows, and it looks really aweful when you see that icon over every window, street lamp and any other type of light. Can i get LL to turn off script warnings for this sim? |

The problem is on line number 9
llSetLinkAlpha([LINK_SET, 0.00]); maybe the prims all need to be linked or it needs a linked set script in another prim like a controller or something I would post your problem in the scripting help forums and you could get a better answer in there.. _____________________

Can i get LL to turn off script warnings for this sim? This would be a stupid thing to do because then, if there are any serious problems, no one could figure out the cause. ![]() _____________________

Scripting forum is a good place, but:
llSetLinkAlpha needs three inputs, and not as a list: llSetLinkAlpha(integer linknumber, float alpha, integer face) and llSetLinkPrimitiveParams your PRIM_GLOW list needs to specify number of sides. Assuming you want all sides to be affected this should work: CODE

Whose sim is it? Do you, or they, WANT all the windows and lamps to light at night? If not, and you have mod rights, just remove the scripts and the errors will go away.
There are a LOT of scripts that light prims at different times. If the lighting prims aren't linked the way the script you have wants, then replace it with a script that lights prims appropriately for the object. Any scripter should be able to provide you with a set of lighting scripts that will work fine for the set of objects you have. . |
