Has anyone tried SL on 64 bit Vista?
How was it, any issues.

With the option to buy computers with 6 gigs and more ram, it becomes more important

Thank you

Mine runs absolutely fine. No problems whatsoever.

Got it on 2 machines here, one with 8GB RAM, and one with 4. No problems at all with SL on either.

Just remember to disable Aero. That's not an x64 thing, it's a Vista thing. Aero does not play nice with 3D apps, including SL.

Had alot of issues a year or more ago, but it has been fine for at least a year. Not even a hiccup for a long, long time.

In case anyone is interested Windows XP 64-bit Edition (SP3) works very well too. I recently upgraded to it and 6gb of RAM and SL has never run better for me.

What type of issues will Aero cause? I never enabled it on my Vista system, but it is enabled on my wife's non- SL system and I do like the look of it.

No issues between SL and Aero. Unless your computer is junk, wich in this case you should either upgrade or stay on XP.

Thanks for the replies, LL doesn't say anything about it on system requirements.
