allow combat without roleplay? I'm sure the roleplay is fun, and it's a neat idea to create a roleplay character. The manager at a dcs sim just said that combat isn't allowed w/o roleplay. I shot him a few times just to see if the dcs damage system is working. After that he said no combat w/o roleplay.
Just looking for a heads-up about some sims that are more like bf2 or ut3

I think there are some sandboxes for combat. YOu might also try the sandboxes in the preview grid.

this isn`t battlefield It is if you want it to be. SL is all about customized things to do. If you can have sex, get pregnant, and even get married, I might as well be able to shoot people at random. We just need to be/have/find a land owner who feels like creating it.  _____________________

There are plenty of games for computers that allow that. So, really, there is no void to be filled in that genre. Without a void to be filled, I can see why nobody would really go through the trouble of making a pure shoot-em-up in SL. (^_^)y

Just looking for a heads-up about some sims that are more like bf2 or ut3 peace Yeah there are some of this SIMS with "damage" enabled, some groups that use comabat sims without roleplaying rulz and no combat system. all you need is a land with damage enabeled and victims and - guns. Just get there join the groups, be a lazy typist and just try to survive the up coming bullets, bombs, whatever. |

pure combat, they have there own hud so it's not dcs or whichever. it's basically shoot to kill, lots of fun, can easily kill a few hours there, you'll need to join there group to use the hud which i think is a 15L joining fee. they also only have a select range of weapons you can use but from many many different vendors
edited to add that when you die the hud teleports you to a near by area, last time i was there it was in a plane, that you had to parachute out of to get back to ground. its fun to get a sniper and shoot the people as there parachuting down  much better than being teleported home when you die.-Crunch _____________________
