Can't post an Event on land I own - ????

I'm sorry if this info is hidden in the recesses here somewhere but I've searched here and in the Knowledge Base pretty thoroughly, and cannot find the answer to my question. I own land on the Mainland - plots were purchased from 5 to 7 days ago and then joined - and want to have a (real!) yard sale to try to realize something from a recent (personal) inventory cleanout, before I start building. Soooo - I went to enter an Event on the website and everything went swimmingly until I had to select the location from the pop-up menu. It only showed 1) land that I am still a renter on, until tomorrow, 2) group locations, and 3) the Linden locations. It did NOT show the land I own outright! I just want to know if it takes several (!) days for "the system" to process land purchases so that one can list an event on that land, or if I might have something wrong in my land settings, or - what??? I'm pretty handy with SL but this has me stumped. Please HELP!!!!

Ensure you've set a TP point. World, about land, options, set teleport. If it's not set the land won't appear in events.

Wait, I may have got this arse about face, is the point fixed? If so try setting it to anyhwere, if it's already set to anywhere try setting it to a fixed point.

I've had this before, I can't remember which way round I had to change it to make the land appear.

HAH!!! The PROBLEM was that I, girl genius, had not yet decided on a name for my fabulous spread; thus, my location *was* showing up, it was just *invisible*. I could tell you how I realized this but I'm waaaaay too hot and cranky right now (@ 3:20 pm it's 29/85, the fourth hot day in a row, and of course we don't have A/C, just some fans). But super thanks for your help, I learned a LOT about setting the TP point and the importance of NAMING your property, even with a temporary name, today.

Okay, I'm going to go lie down now. Any of you who want to check out some great stuff, look up the yard sale in Francois. ;^) (hope I can say that . . . )

and here I am with what feels like the 98th straight day of rain! Oh how I'd love 4 days of summer!
