Is there a way to see what complaints have been written or reported against a particular resident? On the similar lines, can a resident see what has been reported about himself/herself?

In a word, no.

there are no "constitutional rights" when dealing with a privately held corporate entity.

No, LL keeps all that information private. And, for good reason.

So you mean to say that anyone can say anything about you and you have no idea what it is, and no way to defend yourself or give context? Wow.

Yes.

Well, one can complain about it to LL after the fact.

well there are requirements for a report..time and place and as much info as they have of the offense..they look at logs and things..it's not just he said this or she said that and you get banned or a warning..
everyone would be ARing for the heck of it then and clogging the system even more than it is now.
and they won't go into past offenses that have not been reported..
the one making the report won't know if anything happened to you either..

I've never experienced it but I'm pretty sure if LL finds the report to be somewhat valid or could be valid, you get an opportunity to put up your side before any serious action is taken against you......like a supension or banning. A warning may be issued without first contacting you..........and then you can offer your side at that point.

Negative Peggy ::( If and when they hit the ban buttion you are summarilly(sp) logged out of secondlife by an administrator and that is your first inkling that someone has AR'd you.

Lets say one Day oh, Amy bddady is happily standing in help planet publics sandbox minding her own business with a prim outfit on. Bork Jhohedjenstormich has a crappy card and so see's her completely nude at less then 20 meters. Or perhaps he's just feeling malicious and has prims off. He ar's her. She, bless her soul is suddenly logged out Oddly enough within minutes and when she ties to log back in she cannot do so untill such and such day and such and such time. No warning, no words, nothing. A couple DAYS later, well after she is allowed back in they send her an EMAIL stating what it was all about. And only grudgingly and after may emails sent them. No, Linden lab, or employees don't give you a chance to defend yourself. Even against malicious AR's that, with 30 seconds of investigation would be found to be patently false. Word of warning.

I don't go to public sandboxes. :)

But while building clothes I sometimes stand on my deck at my house nude for hours. :)
Well, I am 600 meters high and as soon as the new viewer comes out the the new build limit of 4096, it will be 4000 meters high. :)
