can't telelport!!!!

Having trouble in SL for months... I can't teleport anywhere, it just logs me out! This has been going on for several months and I don't know what to do. I have deleted every single SL file on my Mac and reinstalled SL several times, and nothing helps. When I deleted SL from my Mac, my partner was able to log in as my avatar on his PC and could teleport her, but then I reinstalled and tried to teleport her and same thing again! This seems to have started when I logged in on my college campus during an SL class, and I could teleport her from those Macs, but somehow I can't do it on my own computer now. Does anyone have any idea whatsoever on how to fix this issue? I miss my SL!!!!

I don't run on a Mac.... but it might help if you gave more details about your operating system and internet provider.

I will say this much tho......I just relocated to my sister's house temporarily and I was previously using a cable high speed internet connection....never had any problems with SL. My sister has DSL......the connection is pretty stable...but.....when I first logged in from here (also, I'm on my own computer, took it with me) I could not move after I teleported...I would crash as soon as I tried to move 'after' a teleport. I relogged several times and finally.....after checking my statistics and lag meter.....I lowered some of my graphic settings and bandwidthe.....and presto....no crashes...I teleport just fine.

So.....if you are using the same computer you always used.....has anything else changed, like your internet provider? Also...are your graphics card drivers up to date?

What ever else you can tell us will help in figuring out the cause.
