My World Map has somehow got too big vertically to fit on the screen, that is I cannot move it up far enough to see the tp button or be able to resize it. I have re-installed to no avail so I'm guessing that the setting is hidden away in the registry (Win XP).

Any ideas ???

There's probably a better way to do it, but you could delete your preferences file. I believe it is called settings.xml but I don't know where it goes in Windows. Maybe under documents and settings, in a second life subfolder?

Have you tried running SL full screen ? In your preferences -> Graphics

ETA: I just made my map vertically to large to minimize, and running fullscreen was the only quick way to be able to do this. Unless you were already in 'fullscreen'?

I've got the same issue with my search window. Stuff at the bottom is out of sight, even after closing the chat bar, which means no way to the turn the page of search results and, as you say, no way to resize the window.

I don't really care very much, since this is with the regular viewer and I'm pretty much exclusively using the RC viewer. But it will be nice to know if there's a fix, provided it's not so simple as to be embarrasing. Heheh.

Umm, tried full screen, still too big.
Deleted the settings XML, no change.
I did check that when I uninstalled, the 'SecondLife' folder was deleted so unless they are hiding things in another folder it looks as if it has to be in the registry.
I'll have a search

You can resize it from the top too.

That's strange 'cause I couldn't resize it, only move it downwards from the top. I'll have to dbl check later.

Well done Whispering, I wasn't looking for or expecting to be able to resize from the top !!!
It also explains how I must have got it over size in the first place.

I just looked to see if this would work on my search popup, but it cannot be resized, it seems. Next time I'm in world I'll play with user interface / resolution and see if I can coax it back inside the viewing area.
