Moving items across regions

Is there any way to move items from one region to another without taking them into your inventory? My friend has some No Transfer items assigned to my group (not deeded) and I have Mod rights from her. I've accidentally thrown items across regions before, but is it possible to do it deliberately? :) Thanks

It's possible to "wear" then "drop," but it has to be the owner of the object that does it.

I've used edit mode to drag stuff from one region to the next. I have some automated vehicles that occasionaly wander off course into the wrong region, and they can sense they're lost so they shut down. I just edit them, grab the appropriate red or green arrow, and drag them back into the region they ought to be in. I've also done it by just keying in a big number in the edit box, i.e. if I want the object to go 'north' into the next sim, I'll just put in a position Y number that's over 256.

I will say, I've only done this with copyable objects and I'm not 100% confident in it, but it has worked the dozen or so times that I've done it. As always, your mileage may vary. Also, needless to say, this is moving things between adjacent (estate) sims, and without going through 'no object entry' parcels or anything like that.
