Friendly Greetings
 On my parcel there is a place, where under certain zoom and angle some grass is visible, its on this pic: http://img253.imageshack.us/img253/4793/grasski8ne4.jpg The problem is - I never created any grass there. I cant delete it. If I zoom in or out the grass escapes. If I rotate the camera it escapes too. But it keeps on appearing over and over... Can anyone help? |

I'd go into edit mode and draw a big box around all of that grass. You may see that you will find a rezzer or something. If you do, just return it and that should end your grass woes.

I think I know what this is, it's Linden grass, and acts like invisible ghost prims, seen it a few times on our island, usually you can see it from a higher elevation and not when standing on the ground. like invisible ghost prims usually goes with a restart.
alternatively it belongs to your neighbour and its just over your boundary line. _____________________

I've noticed with some linden grasses, not only do they simply not appear high up (if you try to rez them on top of a prim they will appear at ground-level instead) they don't have easily clickable parts, you can only reliably get them by band-selecting and even then they don't highlight or anything, but you can at least change their group and use auto-return and something.

Well if you visit Svarga, there is a section there, where they are engineering artifical intelligent life. The grass and trees really grow on their own, the weather is totally random, even the animals live and die. They sell bird seed, so you can feed the birds, because if they do not get enough food and water, they die. Maybe the winds carried some of those grass seeds onto your land. Check out that section, in Svarga, that grass looks like some I seen there.
It is really amazing what the future holds for SL. But then again, it means that one day, we will be forced to mow the lawn once a week or hire someone to do it.  |
