Grendel's Children Mechanical Rat AV

I'm hoping someone familiar with Grendel's Children can help me with this:

About a year and a half or so, I purchased an avatar from Grendel's Children: a mechanical rat made of metal with a key that rotated on top - sort of a Steampunk look. I loved that AV.

I hadn't worn it in awhile and last night decided to put it on. It has poofed from inventory. I looked in my archive boxes to make sure I hadn't put it in storage, did the clear cache several times (each time logging into the Corra sim which was recommended as good for that type of thing)...nada.

So, headed to Grendel's to purchase another. I looked everywhere (I think) and, to the best of my knowledge, the place where it was before but can't find it. I sent a note card to Flea Bussy to see if they still carry it, but in the meantime thought someone familiar with the layout of Grendel's may have seen it and be able to point me in the right direction.

On the topic of clearing cache, I recall reading somewhere a long time ago there is a file that can be deleted somewhere within the SL program so the inventory has to "rebuild" itself. Is that a good idea and does it tend to work well? (Deleting files from programs always makes me a bit uneasy.)

No idea. I have boycotted Grendel's indefinitely because I think Toady (Flea's partner) is a first-class, grade-A *ss.
