Youtube players do not work |

I'm having trouble getting any of the youtube players to work for me. I can play other streaming video, but not youtube videos. The search function on the players does work, and it will display the videos you can chose from, but when it says that the video is "playing" the screen remains black. It is this way on several players that I tried. I tried searching the knowledgebase and forums for "youtube" but a cursory look didn't yield anything promising. I would appreciate any advice you might have.

Can you actually view that same video on Youtube from a browser? Youtube pulled thousands of videos that played copyrighted songs.

Heh, sounds familliar.
Bought over a period of two years several televisions which could play youtube links, but after a while they all failed to work. My advise? Don't buy one. |

I would appreciate any advice you might have. I had this problem and did some things to "fix" it. First, I updated my Quicktime player: http://www.apple.com/quicktime/download/ Then, I made sure my player was not set to auto play and also not on"my playlist" but my bookmarks. YouTUbe has removed most of my bookmarks or changed the url, so browse through your player to make sure any will play. [my collections need a refresh it seems lol]  _____________________
