SL Down - Worst ISP Evah

So LL is using one of the least reliable ISP's on the planet. Why? Why are they not at a carrier neutral facility like Equinix so they don't get pulled down by the incompetence of a single carrier? You get MUCH better pricing at a carrier neutral facility too since there is competition. With a locked-in ISP like the cruft that is Level3, you don't get that.

LL - get a backup line. Demand better from your carrier. You want businesses to treat SL as a place where they can do business yet you don't have a reliable infrastructure - starting with your carrier. Do you want to take SL beyond perpetual alpha quality or not?

Thankyou for posting this. I thought I had lost my account for accidentally leaving a small mess behind in Niseko 4. I could not log in early this morning. It took six tries. Then I saw the Network Issues link. It helps when you are having trouble connecting or logging in that others are having trouble too. I'm very relieved.

This is not my day by the way. At 5:45am EDT, my doorbell rang and it was a cop. He was looking for someone who no longer lives at my address. What a way to start your day in first life.
