The arrangement of buttons is pretty bad.
The retake the snapshot button is way too close to the send postcard button

The forum with my name can be used for productive discussion of other virtual worlds, among many other uses to which it can be put.
The name of the forum is actually the name of the group. It was the group that got my name.
If I had my preferences, I'd make some sub-forums in my group forum, one for "Other Virtual Worlds", perhaps one for "SL General Chat", maybe one for "Off Topic" or "Weird Stuff Found On The Net" or something like that. However, group forum moderators here don't get sub-forum creation power.

New file format?

I just downloaded the new RC viewer. Pretty skies, huh? So I took a snapshot to disk (as I have been doing for years in SL) expecting the usual .bmp file type, however, when I tried to open the file in GIMP, I realise that it's a J2C file and I'm unable to preview or open it.
Was this new file type announced on the blog? What program can be used to open it?
