Hi:
On 2.28.08 I was required to update SL to Release Version 1.19.0.(4). Succesfully updated. Today, 3.1.08, only 2 days later, a similar required update message appears at login page stating my current version is "out of date" and that I need to upgrade to Release Version 1.19.0 (5). Again, upgrade was successful. Just seems odd that 2 "required" updates come 2 days apart and that there does not appear to be any Release Notes anywhere concerning v. 1.19.0 (5)? Comments? Thanks! Tharsis

an apparent security issue with 04 but I really had many problems with 05 and ended up reverting back to 03 for the night maybe it was just the grid playing up, but log out on almost every tp with 05 for me ... ( linux) wasnt good.

Update from 1.19.0(4) to 1.19.0(5) viewer required (earlier still allowed) Friday, February 29th, 2008 by: Joshua Linden
A security issue was discovered in the Second Life 1.19.0(4) viewer released yesterday. Although we have no information indicating that it is being exploited, residents who downloaded the optional 1.19.0(4) viewer should update to 1.19.0(5). Earlier supported versions - 1.18.5(3), 1.18.4(3), 1.18.3(5) and 1.18.2(1) are unaffected and may still be used.
