"account unavailable till ???

Hi all,

For the last hour and a half or so, when I try to log in, I keep getting the following message:

'you have been logged out...account unavailable till' and then it states a time. When I try to log in at that time, it gives me the same message with a time that's five minutes later.

Just wondering if anyone would have any idea why this is happening? would it be a glitch of some description or should I file a support ticket?

This happens to me quite a few times. Rebooting my PC is the only thing that seems to fix it. I think it may be something to do with the cache getting corrupted.

Try cleaning cache and logging in. Or re-installing SL.

I've just re-booted and going to try yet again.....keep your fingers crossed..

If that doesn't work, reboot the modem/routers that connect the comp to the internet. I have had ghost connections cause this.

I think I might try that.... still can't log in....it's so frustrating. I did have a look through the solution finder and it states that if it says 'system is logging you out ' then wait for about 15 minutes before trying to log back in again...of course it's been around two hours now and it's 'still logging me out'...

Anyway, will try what you've suggested..thanks.

You may be ghosted, in which case the only thing that really seems to work is a sim restart.

However, before jumping to that conclusion I would wait for an hour or two past when they solve this latest issue (from the blog):

There are many regions down at the moment along with a collection of in world issues. If you are not able to login, please attempt login in a different region. Similarly with Teleporting. We have not yet pinpointed the source of these issues and will provide more information as soon as it is available.

This is really Murphy's Law.....I'd just spent the better part of 3 hours trying to get my son to bed....finally when I have the rest of the evening to myself....this happens. Oh well, I guess it's back to Photoshop for me. I think I'll stay away from Slex or Onrez.....I'll probably buy something ridiculous out of boredom...lol

thanks for doing that guys.....I have no idea what's happening.... I've just went ahead and created an alt to see if I could log in with her...got in fine, but when I try to log in with my main...no such luck.... I think I'll just file a support ticket tomorrow morning...which is only a few hours away at this stage.....

You'd never know... "ghost" Pocket might be having a fine party inside SL while you're scratching your head trying to figure out things

LMAO....that would be just my luck....I just logged in with my alt and same thing, I show as 'online'...

I've just also had a thought...what if someone has somehow gotten hold of my password...jaysus...that would be all I need.

Surely if someone had your password, YOU wouldnt be logged into the forums? Then again, "having" the password is different to "changing" the password.

Dont mind me... you know what hour it is.

sometimes it will release you if somebody goes in world and pushes you into another region as well.

but to do this, we need to be able to find her

I actually started a live chat session with someone and was informed that this sometimes happens when an avatar isn't logged out properly.... Anyway, it's been rectified, just logged in and back out again...just to make sure....it's 5am here now and I might as well stay up, have to be up at 7.30 am anyway.

Oh well, at least I wasn't naked when I did manage to log back in.....

sucks that there is no button on the website to force your own avatar to log out in situations like this...

That would be a good idea..... funny thing is that when I finally logged back in, I had one IM from someone who just said 'Hey' and I was offered about a dozen different poses for being 'wherever I was'....weird
