Where Is the $ For Sale of My Land?

I finally sold my old land yesterday. Made a decent profit off of it too, so I'm pretty happy. Didn't even have to sell it to the crappy neighbor which makes it even better

Anyway this morning, I noticed that:

There was a dividend payment made to my group of $2500L. What is that about?

Where is my sale money???? It doesn't show up inworld. Doesn't show up in my Lindex account. Isn't showing up as a credit to my credit card either (which I have linked for payment for my tier).

Does it take a bit for this money to show up? I'm not exactly sure when the person did the transaction - could have been early this morning for all I know.

Should I be worried? I am

Group land money usually comes in the next morning. What time did you sell it yesterday? Don't pay attention to the dividends if you are the only one in the group with account privileges.


ETA-I reread it again. If it was after 12 am SLT,you will most likely get it tonight after 12am.

And I think I figured it out anyway. The first plot was a prim land and that was already purchased yesterday. I forgot that the group gets the proceeds divided up equally amongst themselves - so I went to check my alt and sure enough she had the other half of that sale

The other sale is pending for today, I know it's going through because the other land is worth nothing to the buyer without the larger land (you've been there so you know).

That'll never happen. You'd have to manually convert it to USD first, then have it paid out via PayPal or check. As I understand it, credit card companies won't allow LL to put it back on your card because the transaction doesn't actually involve any tangible goods.

I remember the first time I sold group land and it took LL about a day to divide it up among the group leaders. I was like *EEEEKKK* where is my money!!

I'm so paranoid about large amounts of money. When I get my income tax refund I'm all paranoid on the way to the bank like everyone knows I have alot of money on me

Unless it's only you and alts in the group or you're certain you have the accounting permission set u proper, do check to make sure that you're the only one who'll be getting the group dividend.

You might want to check your group to make sure you have your accounting turned off for the peeps in the group. The dividend is a percentage split amongst the members. If you hadn't unchecked those Accounting (pay group liabilities/dividends) functions, there is a possibility that your cash will be split amongst the members of the group.

And, I have seen payouts take up to 72 hours also. But they do get paid.
