Rogue Flashing Rainbows

It took me forever to figure out how to fix this last time. Now it just started again and I've forgotten how I did fix it. It's flashing moving rainbow colors all over textures where they don't belong. Can someone help me please?

So there is no actual cure? Last time it lasted about 3 weeks and I couldn't get any work done. I tried logging out but when I came back it was still happening.

I see a post that says try unchecking the VBO box in the graphics preferences.
Also see if you are using Full Bright objects. If they don't need to be full bright make them not be full bright.

Bless you SuezanneC! That was it. I checked that box yesterday to see what it would do. But I had forgotten about it today when the rainbows showed up.

It's wierd too, usually when it does this rainbow color thing, it's only on scripted items.

happens on nonscripted items for me too. thanks for the tip. i'll uncheck that box also.
