I generally use the Nicholaz Bleeding Edge-v. I am going to install WindLight in a different directory. Do I have to install the latest version of the SL browser first?

Windlight and the standard viewer are completely separate in that respect. They install into different folders, so you can have both without any issue.

What she said. I run The Windlights for a little while every so often when I want to see the puffy clouds and shiny water. Then I run the BE-V when I actually want to move around and do stuff.

Yup, what they said. Except I do the opposite of Brenda...I run WindLight exclusively (I don't have any problems at all with it) and keep the other version of SL....juuuust in case they decide to snatch windlight back like they did last year after they released the first, firstlook version of it. LOL
