new alt...how long?

Ive finally caved in and decided that I do need an alt to carry some of my bulging inventory. Sooo i made one..and waited and waited for the email to activate it...nothing in 8 hours...how long does it take...or is that one of those "how long is a piece of string" questions?

If you managed to use Hotmail for it, you won't receive the email, sadly. For some reason, Hotmail says it's spam and auto-deletes it, without it ever hitting your spam box.
