Problem with groups today.

Ok, didn't see this in the recent thread titles. Wondered if anyone else was having the same problem.
On the groups tab, it shows "none". On the profile page, it lists the groups I am a member of. When I pull up a group, my name is listed as a member, but I can't access any of the member tabs. Just another random SL bug or are other people getting this as well?

im gettin that, as well as seein double posts, unable to send any group notices.
im wonderin if it really is the end of the world/sky is falling at LL. it has been getting progressivley worse regarding performance, with little to no explaination besides "network issues".

Yep same here, I wasnt able to add roles all the buttons were greyed out.

Yeah, same here. Groups listed in the profile view, but when I right click on my av and select "Groups", I'm a member of a big fat 0 Just another day in SL eh

Speaking of groups, this is OT, but I've never seen a good explanation of what exactly the group liability fee is for. My alt and I are the only members of my land group, and since this bug of Chris' has come up, I'm unable to uncheck this option, so we are both getting charged group fees. Where does this money go and what's it for?
[Edit: This is what it says in the Abilities tab of Group Info: "Members in a Role with this Ability will automatically pay group liabilities and receive group dividends. This means they will receive a portion of group-owned land sales which are distributed daily, as well as contribute towards things like parcel listing fees. " So my question is, I guess, if my parcel listing fee is only L$30/week, why is my alt being charged L$20? Can I change the amount she's charged? I don't want to have to keep logging on to find her account in the red.]

This 30L is divided among all of those who have the group accounting ability. Edit. Is she in another group? Her part of your landgroup fee should only be 15L.

Actually, I had this happening for a couple of days. Forum Cartel didn't show up the other day, and I thought I got booted out for some unknown reason!

Just another random SL bug or are other people getting this as well? Yup, I had that a few weeks back as well. Registered it on the JIRA. Had a Linden ask me in world if it had happened recently. Said "No. Don't think so. Not the last few logins." So they closed it. Maybe re-open that one on JIRA if you can find it or start a new one? |
