We've been having problems. We being a community-run region and me their neighbor.
Long story short:
A neighbor went insane, or at least we think he did. He started pulling stuff by posting message prims singling out and putting down community members, passing judgement on them based on their first life, and more. These were returned by a Linden and he was quiet and set his land for sale.
Then the other day he took it off sale and put messages again on 128x128 prims AND added a hoverscript so text was through the middle of the viewer from neighboring land including mine. Many ARs ensued again, and again the prims were returned to him.
Two days later he resumed with a transparent megprim and the same intrusive hovertext. Over 24 hours and several ARs by several people later, and the prim is still up and visitors to my place or others' are chased away by the hovertext.
I'm wondering if the G Team has been known to let people suffer like this? Usually mass ARing by several residents results in a prompt response.

They are too busy trying to get the Zindra land swap tickets figured out and processed.

I think you confuse departments.
People do that sometimes. They go to new user experience office hours to complain about their estate problems.

Gotta be mainland - they wouldn't have done anything the first 2 times if it was a private island..

People do that sometimes. They go to new user experience office hours to complain about their estate problems. The comment was sarcastic, but that apparently went past you. In any case, for a short bit there, many support people from different areas were processing the Zindra tickets. Go back and re-read all the threads on the issue and you'll see that people were told that.

Not a private island where the owner can do the ousting.
There's nothing wrong with Mainland, and communities rarely have to wait long for something to be done about one griefer. That's why I'm posting.
While other depts are being redirected to work on filling tickets for the new continent, it's more likely clerical ones by nature and not those protecting the grid.

Even Harry has been handling Zindra move tickets, so there is plenty of multiple hat wearing still going on there.

That would make sense. But still they havent dismissed the team. There's enough being added to the rap sheet this morning, but just the usual sandboxes.

Along with the usual daily business and the Zindra move, Jack mentioned that he wanted more of a push on the land cutting and bot stuff that was falling behind. LL needs more liaisons, or whatever they are called this week.

Oh yes, a feud in a sim where I own land (that had nothing to do with me) had a neighbour posting obscene messages sky high and despite my AR's nothing was done for about a week, huge spinning obscene messages were not considered an issue. The current situation, an absolutely huge full bright glaring white build that you can't enter and seems to be part of the same feud and again the G-team take no action.

Holocluck, if you're talking about land near your shop, I think it's been taken care of because I don't see any offensive hovertext around there as of right this minute.

The cynical part of me thinks: Wow, so your neighbour put his account on the line to stage an event for you? How generous! You know that stuff is gonna get wiped, and even more, that your neighbour is probably going to fall afoul of the first life disclosure rules. I'm willing to bet that if you rezzed a couple of sexual poseballs in a PG parcel, the G-Team would be all over it like white on rice within seconds! Come to think of it, the maturity level demonstrated by the participants of that "feud" may well be the *reason* we're having this Zindra mess to begin with.

Yeh Dakota - although I have two commercial spots on the grid and I've been lazy about updating my sig. By noon it was cleared. btw note this is totally a one-sided thing. no one has an issue with them or has done anything. Except ARs of course. It's all this guy, and he's extremely conpicuous. We're surprised he hasnt been suspended. Any idea if they go for the three magic tries before someone gets zapped? btw it's not PG land.

Amusing update:
It's possible he was suspended.
Someone else bought the land and started parceling it off in an odd fashion and a building style resembling his.
So I am assuming this is an alt doing the work.
Normally I wouldnt care what he does if it doesnt interfere with things, but he has made a path around each parcel and a deliberate stairway leading to my friend's land.
This would imply he is encouraging people to trespass to get to a Linden road beyond.
Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm!
Does LL have any rulings about suspended people who use their alts?

From: Holocluck Henly Does LL have any rulings about suspended people who use their alts? They used to call it "alt account abuse" when you used an alt to continue doing something that another avatar of yours got suspended for. They tended to not have much sense of humor about it, too. edit: I still see them using that one.. http://secondlife.com/support/incidentreport.php

I'm imaging everyone who enters the contest will do so for "now" and AR the person to speed things along. All I can recommend is a mega prim screen, but those don't block hover-text.
