I keep trying to buy some L and I keep getting this error.
• Could not charge account.
• The system encountered an error while processing your order, please try again.
No clue why it keeps timing out on me, anyone getting this?

It's not timing out, that is a real error.
Try contacting your credit card company. They have a record of all attempted charges and can tell you why it failed.

What were you using to try to buy the $L? Credit card, gift card with a balance on it? If the card has a balance on it then you need to look down to what the total charge is going to be, you may be exceeding your limit.

Hi Max,
You're not alone. My alt tried to purchase $2500L a hour and a half ago ingame.
The oncreen box did nothing for almost a minute..then it showed "cannot buy at this time".
So I cancelled it out.
I still have not recieved the Lindens ingame ..however my credit card account shows that Linden Lab charged my account for it......

This same thing happened a couple of months back and I just let it go..but a second time is annoying.Plus the status page shows no problems..which is nothing new..I usually find folks on this forum have the problems and post them long before LL ever shows a problem on the status page.

BTW..my account transactions page shows no transactions for today...so there is no record that I tried to purchase the Lindens except for my credit card account.
