I can't upload anything via SL, you know.. where you pay L$10 to upload something from your PC.

When I click "Upload" my SL instantly closes, giving me a Crash Logger box, where as then I have to re-open SL, wait for the "Logging out process" to complete then I log-in again and try it again, only to have my SL close once again resulting in a crash logger.

So, why can't I use the upload feature, and why is it crashing SL?

Could be an SL glich, things have been a little twitchy for a few days now.I notice that this is your first post, welcome to the forums.Sometimes I find that I need to wait a while after logging on to upload stuff.Have you ever been able to upload stuff,if not could be your end.Is your system up to it?

One thing I'd instantly recommend is updating the video drivers. That's the first thing a Linden would suggest and the silly uploading seems to be tied to them

My computer is new, you would think with Dual-Core processor and 4GB of RAM Memory would be enough to make SecondLife happy. Lag isn't much of an issue for me, the only issue I'm having is the upload feature, my friend who has an older computer than mine and much less up-to-date can use the feature just fine, maybe I need to fiddle with it a little bit to see what I can get out of it.

I've also noticed that "Snapshot to Drive" does the same thing too, I clicked it and down it went.

If it means anything, I'm running Vista, I've already tried running SL as Administrator and..so on, so forth.

Could it just be SL? I'm not sure if it's SL itself or not because as I said earlier, my friend uploads photos and sounds with out any problems at all.

Thank you for the welcome, btw. :)

have you tried different locations in SL?
A different client?
A clean uninstall and reinstall?
clear cache?
If possible a different computer to see if it is related to your account, or the PC it is on?

My computer is new,

So was mine but I still needed to update the drivers to cope with the latest viewer, these new computers can sit on the shelf for a while :) It's a fast moving business.
