Well, I got up this am to get ready and go try to grab some land at Burning Life, and got this message... Login Failed. Cannot access Second Life from this computer 0.o
I tried my laptop and got the same message.
Is this an isp issue?
Anyone know where I would even look to start addressing this?
sheesh.

I've had that happen once or twice......I just waited and relogged later and it was fine. The other thing you can try is resetting your modem. From what I understand it is either an ISP issue or a firewall issue. But, if you've been accessing right along, it'll correct itself I would think.

thanks Milla. I will try resetting the modem and looking at my firewall and see what happens. I've never had any connectivity issues before and this is just a *really* bad day for this to happen ain't it always so?

Eek! I'd call support if possible - that's just not right!

Occasionally this happens because LL has deemed you such a risk to the public well-being that they have IP-banned your account (an increasingly meaningless gesture, given the widespread use of NAT and proxy servers). If it doesn't go away in a couple of hours (and yes, do reset your router/modem), file a support ticket. You can do so even as a basic account; there is a "Special Question" for your account being unusable. Good luck!
