Hi everyone,
In the latest Release Candidate of SL, there is this new feature that links an avatar name to its profile in every instant message window.
I tried hard to find a way to get rid of that "feature" but I couldn't. Can anyone share a tip on that?

It's a nice feature actually. (saves having to search for the avatar in the window or the slow search tools to find them, and what not)
And as far as I know no way to shut it off

seems redundant to have it in the im window, however it is very handy in open chat window and group chat windows
as mentioned saves the trouble of trying to find someone, when all you have to do is click their name to open the profile
no way to turn it off that I know of either

Since you can click the button, in the upper right corner, with the << symbols on it to get a list of the participating avatars, click a name and click the profile button below the list, this "feature" does seem redundant to me.
But it doesn't seem to get in the way of anything so I don't really have a problem with it being there.
No way to turn it off that I know of.
