Last night (UK time) login was a nightmare.
This morning, no problems at all.
This evening, Nightmare On Login Street 2 - with one improvement to yesterday, my inventory is there.
What's happening: each time I try to login to a new sim:
1. First login: I'm at co-ordinates 10,10,10 (underwater, invisible avatar, can't move, apparently sitting, Stand Up button doesn't work)
2. Second and subsequent logins: I'm now higher, Ruth surveying her watery empire, nothing rezzing, Friends list is there, but Search and IM don't work, TP is problematic
3. Eventually, I login as me, still only water water everywhere. Some IM is now working.
Please don't ask me if I have cleared cache. I've cleared cache so often my computer is glaring at me.
OK, dare I ask, is anyone else having these "apparently fixed" login problems... ? (No mention on the Blog).

If you have to ask if problems are resolved, chances are the answer will be "no"
But that's ok. LL will be on the job Monday.

Hi Tid,
I noticed a bit of a log in glitch earlier but got in after a couple of tries. Also noticed that friends who had been affected by the inventory server drama were back. But people are still reporting problems as well, so I guess you're not alone.

I'm not inworld atm, no. However I was able to log in fine earlier.
- and I *was* one of the ones affected by the inventory server dump.

Tid - I managed to get in-world today in one shot, and did manage to change appearance - however, once I pushed my luck at trying to TP, I got the boot.
Haven't tried to log back in yet...still letting my paws cool off after that last scorching crash.

One of my younger alts was able to log in this very minute. Yesterday he could not log in for hours.

logged in was told that the client could not verify itself with the ssl? now is perma ruthed(for the mo), appearance doesnt work, and i ma be scarred for life  !!!!

Same here..was able to change clothes, do a few things in my house etc..decided I wanted to go visit someone and BAM..I got a boot to the butt again. Life would be so much simplier if LL would tell me why exactly I am grounded and for how long. * pouts as she goes back to her land, where it seems she is grounded to* Oh..btw.. I sent a support ticket..I most likely won't hear from them until way after Monday though. * sigh* |
