Crazy "Service" Fees

Up to today, I was under the impression that the $150 you pay for a region move also includes a name change - I mean, in that special ticket type for a region move there *is* a field to put in a new name for the region, too. And without mentioning another fee being added for using that field. In my eyes, this implies (at least to us) that the name change is included in the already high moving fee. Now my business partner was contacted by LL that he has to accept another 50 Dollar fee for changing the name? So they want 200 bucks for that, while a full transfer that includes everything plus the change of estate owner is only 100? And all that for changes that only became necessary because of LL skyrocketing the prices and "inventing" the new homestead product?

How crazy is that, with a bit of luck I can get a used homestead including transfer costs for those 200 dollars. Well, LL will get the additional 50 dollars. And now another 95 dollars less per month, because right after accepting this next robbery we abandanoned another one of our Homesteads. We are totally fed up with LL's definition of customer service.

If LL moves a sim as part of a transfer of ownership, they would include the name change for free. But if you already owned it and were just moving it, the name change fee was charged. At least that is how I understood it to work.

But why is there a special field in the ticket type "region move" for a new name? And why isn't there a description like "If you chose to change the name, too, another fee of $50 will be added."? The setup of this ticket type looks exactly like the full transfer ticket type where the name change is included.

Seems like a whole bunch for a simple DNS update doesn't it?

Because we are talking about a Homestead that can not be owned without owning a full region, too :(
