Hi again,

I was given an avatar that I no longer want. I'm not wearing any part of it, and I was able to delete everything in the folder of that avatar, but when I try to delete the folder itself, the "delete" option is not clickable. Any clue what I'm doing wrong?

What happens if you just select the folder and press the Delete key on your keyboard?

That did it! That method never occurred to me.

*embarrassed*

Thanks!

No problem. :) Glad it worked.

I never knew that, so I'm glad Chosen got here before I did.

I have noticed that happening sometimes with outfits containing system clothes - if I take an item (say, a shirt) off without directly replacing it with another, SL won't let me delete the folder. It clears up after a relog.

My workaround has been to rename the folder "delete me" and get to it on the next login.

It sometimes happens that folders don't delete, also not by pressing the delete key.

Nic's solution has always worked for me too: rename it, and next time you login it can be deleted.

Or just drag it to your Trash.
