Previously if I gave my mod rights to someone they could modify all of my items. We just purchase a home (i am the owner) and he is not able to do anything with it. The home was sold mod/copy.
I made a grotto and he is not able to mod it either. The only time he can mod any of my objects is if i unlink them. It doesn't even seem to matter if I am the creator or the owner, or if he is the owner. Has SL borked editing too?
Any suggestions?

If he can mod unlinked pieces, I would first verify that everything within the linkset is truly modifiable. Also, verify that the linkset has not been set to Locked.

Also if any of the prims contain any no mod items the object will appear no mod when it is in the inventory.

Also make sure they don't have 'select only my objects' checked.
