Hi Everyone. New to SL and have been shopping around for days now.. I know this is going to be a bit of an odd request, but I am hoping someone here could help me out. I have been looking for some clothing that is anime-esque or punkish, that is boys clothes, but has a bit of a feminine look to it.. Or reversely, girl clothes that could be passed off easily. Definitely high quality stuff, not looking for cheaply made clothing. Also, is there anyone out there that does custom body shapes, or can point me to a good shape store that doesn't have male shapes that have been taking steroids all their lives? Thanks everyone! - Astray I appreciate any help!

I'd check Bare Rose first for clothes... huge variety of stuff, lots of it fantasy/anime/Japanese inspired, and at really great prices.

Hm, most of the places I shop are more in the 'fashionista' range of things, but I have seen some great punk-y pieces at Urban Underground and Gritty Kitty. I know Good Life has also become fairly popular lately. You may also take a look at Aitui and Truth, they're not quite punk, but I use a lot of their pieces in combination with other accessories to nice effect. Actually, I'll just dump out a list of male clothing stores I feel are worthy of checking out and let you look for yourself . Never know what you may run across in the most unlikely of stores. Angry Monkey Aitui Armidi (Not very 'punk', but they have nice jeans ) Artilleri Urban Underground Gritty Kitty FORM Truth Renegade Muism Good Life Canimal Nomine Civvies BroGear Steam Powered If you are going for a small male avatar, be careful with prim attachments used to give more dimension to clothing (Collars, sleeve endings, jacket pieces, etc). I often find many to be too large to properly fit my av, and unable to be shrunk near small enough.

Welcome to the forums, Astray.
Try playing with your standard shape before you buy one. And try doing it wilth different skins, which you can try in demo form. A decent skin and eyes are more important than shape.
Also try a search on Goth(ic) or punk.
Good luck.

Congratulations and shame on you! You are a bit of a slut.

From: Ilianexsi Sojourner I'd check Bare Rose first for clothes... huge variety of stuff, lots of it fantasy/anime/Japanese inspired, and at really great prices. They also have a huge heap of freebies and L$1 near freebies. All just gorgeous. I've been sending people there all week! Have a look at booN. They have a lovely freebie skin called summer I think. IM me in world if you can't find it.
