i'll need alot fo players for this. my brother's birthday is tommorow (may 21).
what i'd like to do it get alot of characters somewhere, and arrange the characters to spell "Happy B-Day Ominahy" when viewing from the top. then get a screenshot and i'll show him later, when we celebrate his birthday formally.
anyone mind helping me do this? everyone who's wiling to help, ask all your friends if they will help too. that might get enough (i'm guessing..... oh god, alot. 90-100 maybe).
if you are willing to help, post here. also post how many people you might be able to get to join.

no. but you could span across the corners of 4 sims. i suggest TPing into one of the info hubs and talking those folks into helping you out.

if you want this all to come together by tomorrow, you need to go find a location and make a plan, so people can hurry get where you want them.....
this'll become a party, so you better have a DJ and some food and a dance pole. LOL go to a sandbox, make some prim X's. and prelay them out and link them together. then you can rez them and have people stand on them. ta da _____________________

You might think about having people lay or sit down, so you can spell with fewer avatars since they will be stretched out. I can drop a box of freebie full perm poseballs on you if you want. That would also let you use the poseballs to spell out the wrods and people could just hop in them to get in place.

It sounds like a fantastic idea, Juralp!
Just to be frank, however - I think the logistics involved in something like this will take a lot more time than you have. Getting that many avatars coordinated within less than 24 hours notice probably isn't going to happen, unfortunately. Just an idea: perhaps get a few avatars to stand around as "Pixels", and then use photoshop to mimic the effect of lots of avatars spelling out your message. Kinda how they replicate huge crouds in the movies with only a few real people. Good luck!  _____________________
