Hello. :)

Upon browsing my add/remove programs list on Windows XP, I found a strange program installed that I do not remember even downloading. It is called System Requirements Lab.



Here is the website that seems to be associated with it.

I guess it is a program that determines if you can play 3D/online games based on scans of your hardware. I googled for more information about it; lots of forums say it is ok, but I can't figure out where it came from. It gives me no publisher's information. What I am wondering is, did this come with the Second Life installer package or was it a Windows XP update?

It's not from LL..

Any chance you have the (horribly bad) setting enabled in your browser that automatically downloads and installs ActiveX controls?
