Dont you think its high time someone created a competitor for SLX? Its necessary for a healthy and competitive marketplace. Now that Linden Labs have taken over SLX its even worse. Perhaps Linden Labs dont want competitors and why would they, anyone that takes a single linden away from them needs to be eliminated or taken over immediately. So at the end of the day Linden Labs has a monopoly on everything . I wouldnt call that a healthy sustainable economy.

Somebody did create a competitor. It was called OnRez. And there was that boutique one, but where are they now? I just googled onrez and clicked on the link and guess where it took me? SLX pfft! |

and there is Metabidz, which has the twist of auctioning items, but so far they havent sorted out some issues that stop it being usable (IMHO).

www.SLapt.me has some big changes under the hood and is in testing and final development stages at the moment and is hosted on its own servers here in Amsterdam so watch this space for announcements
