I have a computer at work and I can access SL on it. But the random thing is that it lets me sign in as one avi but not another. Does anyone have any suggestions as to why this is? My password for that avi works fine at home and I AM typing it in correctly. So don't know why this is happening?

If it is "a random thing" most likely the reason is local. Talk to your network administrators to highlight the problem, as doubtlessly you are logging on to SL with your employers blessings. If this is not in agreement with your employer, you're putting your job at risk, which is what Oryx was implying with her remark.
