How to pay others with my US$ ?

You know there's US$ balance in our SL accounts. Is it only converted to L$ or processed to external? May I pay an object or user with US$? How to do it ? Thanks.

well...if you sell your lindens you can add to that USD balance and then transfer that to a paypal account.

your sl account balance of $s and Ls is separate - you can have say, 200 Ls (less than a buck) and $14 at the same time, but they are separate and won't automatically cover deficits in the other.

land tier and other in-world costs processed by the lab are taken from your $s (first you need to convert the Ls to $s so that you don't go 'in the red'; if you have Ls unconverted, the lindens won't convert them automatically for you)

you can use the lindex (sl's built-in currency exchange) to move mon back and forth, or (i highly recommend using slExchange to do so instead - mainly just use lindex to cover your land tier and annual subscription; use slEx for the rest

p.s. oh, and inworld can only use lindens to buy stuff - over at slEx you'll also have a linden balance -and- a $ balance (separate from your sl Ls and $s), and i believe you can then use either balance to buy stuff.

US currency is not used in-world. I suggest you convert to L$.

If you want to do a US$ transaction, it will have to be outside SL (e.g., PayPal) and will involve RL names and contact information.
